La Jarilla Language - A new concept:
The only residential English intensive course in Spain designed for the whole family. La Jarilla English intensive course is a combination family holiday with a professional dynamic English intensive course.
Stay in a fabulous location, spend the mornings studying English, and the afternoons free to relax.
The adult course is designed for busy professionals, for maximum improvement. Children enjoy a 'kids club' all in English with fun, dynamic activities specifically designed to promote language production.
We have 4 professional, experienced teachers and a on site chef. Simon, the house owner, joins us for meals and is around for conversation and information on the area. All La Jarilla staff are native speakers.
WHERE ARE WE?
Cortijo de la Jarilla:
Set amidst its own vineyards, almond and olive groves, 3000ft above sea level on the south facing slope of the Contraviesas, mid way between the Alpujarras and the coast, in Andalucia - Southern Spain, lies the Cortijo de la Jarilla, with spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada, the Mediterranean and occasionally Africa.
The property is secluded, totally unaffected by neighbours and four kms. from the main road at Haza del Lino, with one of several restaurants in the area. There are four beaches within 40 minutes drive and 2 golf courses at Motril and Santa Clara, a little over an hour away. During the summer the heat at La Jarilla is never oppressive due to the altitude, lack of humidity and onshore breezes.
